It will cover essential strategies for producing videos that feel authentic, keep viewers engaged and are simple to execute—putting the power of video creation at your fingertips without the high production costs. This session will also discuss the role of social algorithms and how the short-form content style naturally attracts more viewers.

Bio:
Kieran Mahoney, Digital Media Manager at Visit OKC, specializes in creating compelling short-form videos for social media platforms. A passionate content creator and film editor since the age of 9, Kieran earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Directing and Editing from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. After spending 8 years in New York, she returned to Oklahoma City with over a decade of experience in digital media.

During her time at Visit OKC, Kieran has expanded the social media audience by over 80,000 in just 1.5 years, with her videos reaching millions of views and resonating with both local and national audiences. Kieran also serves as the Marketing Co-Chair for Oklahoma PrideFest 2025. She lives in OKC with her one-eyed corgi, Magnolia, and enjoys discovering new dining spots and staying connected with her community.
