About the Speaker

When and why high, medium, and low budgets video productions should be used

In this breakout will discuss the differences and places for low, medium, and high budget video production.  Will give some history on the evolution of costs and accessibility of video.  Will give examples and describe those examples of budgets and the reasons for those budgets both high and low.

Jason has been writing, directing, and shooting commercials, music videos, and episodic content for over 20 years across various industries in all 50 states and around the world.  He founded Retrospec Films in 2002 which employs 21 full time team members and houses in a one of a kind 12,000 square foot studio in Broken Arrow, OK.  Retrospec currently has a long resume of large national clients from Apple and Starbucks to Raising Canes and WalMart.  Retrospec has won over 130 addies, 5 best in shows, Multiple Emmy’s, the rare Youtube Works award, and currently has an original 13 episode TV series distributed internationally on  Apple TV, Roku, The CW, Tubi, and Outside TV.   Besides founding Retrospec Films and building this company over the last 25 years, Jason also owns one of the largest climbing gyms in Oklahoma, Climb Tulsa.  While filmmaking is his passion, helping people succeed is Jason’s primary focus and that need has yet to run out.
